A BOOK
WRITTEN WITH LOVE
My book AMOR, meaning love in my native language Portuguese, is a raw collection of poems written to reveal my feelings about struggles, resilience, forgiveness, survival, relationships, triumphs and of course LOVE. It is my heart and soul speaking.
My poetry has a cleansing effect within myself, it makes me connect with life and its nuances, expanding my being in all directions.
Whilst I have been inspired by many Brazilian poets like Cecilia Meireles, Fernando Pessoa, J.G. de Araujo Jorge, and the Portuguese poet Florbela Espanca, to name a few, my main source of inspiration is love. Love is who we truly are. It is the living stillness of our creation. It is the beauty we can find everywhere.
I am thrilled to share my first book with you.
